Comments: this showy terrestrial is one of the most
conspicuous of the native terrestrials, its up-to-six-inch (15 cm) tall flower
cluster glowing orange in the sunlight of the damp meadows where it makes its
home. The one-inch (2.5 cm) tall flowers have a heavily fringed lip and a prominent
spur.
