This animation was created for a sub-segment of the Emmy-award winning series "Florida, The Outdoor Adventure".  During each of the seven shows, a section would be devoted to the history of a particular location, industry, etc. in Florida.  This animation was designed to introduce these segments.  Starting with a close-up of an old-style French map of the state, the virtual camera pulls back as historical images relating to Florida move across the map.  The swinging watch with its moving hands was done using my plug-in Relativity along with the vibrating spear shaft.  All the while, the letters "Florida" are being traced out as a texture using my flagship plug-in, Surface Effectors.
