PXE, International: Virtual Patient

PXE Virtual Patient
| PXE is a rare genetic disease that affects
the human body in various ways. The PXE Virtual
patient was designed as an easy method of navigating
between the 13 or so sub-pages that describe the effects
of PXE on the body. A semi-androgynous model of
the human body was generated in LightWave and then incorporated
into a graphic pointing to the various sections of the
body. These sections are further divided into
information geared either toward physicians or for patients/the
general public. Having been around for ten years or
more in various forms, this is the latest incarnation
of the virtual patient designed to integrate with the
new website design. |
